WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SERVICES.
- Our data comes from multiple third-party sources whose accuracy we cannot independently verify
- AI-powered analysis may produce incorrect results
- User-submitted reports may contain errors or false information

4. Limitation of Liability

4.2 Limitation of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SAFETYLOOKUP, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages

- Financial losses resulting from scams not detected by our Services
- Reputation harm from incorrect scam assessments

4.3 Cap on Liability
In no event shall SafetyLookup's total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Services exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to SafetyLookup during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) One Hundred U.S. Dollars ($100.00).
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SafetyLookup, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
6. Subscription and Billing
6.1 Subscription Terms

- Subscription plans, pricing, and features are described on our website
- By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
6.2 Free Trial
- We may offer a free trial period
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription
- We will send you a reminder before the trial ends
6.3 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods
6.4 Money-Back Guarantee
- We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
- To request a refund, contact customer support within 7 days of your initial subscription
- Refunds are at our sole discretion
7. User Conduct

User-Submitted Content
If you submit content to our Services (including scam reports):
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display your submission
- You represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You are solely responsible for the content you submit
- We may remove any content at our discretion
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design, are owned by SafetyLookup or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

You and SafetyLookup agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek equitable relief in court for infringement of intellectual property rights.
10.2 Arbitration Rules
Arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) Consumer Arbitration Rules.
10.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND SAFETYLOOKUP AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
10.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to SafetyLookup within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you do not wish to resolve disputes through arbitration.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Site prior to the effective date of the changes. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account and stop using the Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
